Lexington's Old Mill 5x7
This 'Hometown Series' I created includes local landmarks of my hometown of Lexington SC. It captures the nostalgic feeling of a small town, where the past is deeply embedded in the architecture, people and everyday routines, creating a sense of timeless beauty and familiarity. It is inspired by the idea that you can always come back home.
ABOUT: Built in the 1890's, Lexington's Old Mill was originally known as the Lexington Manufacturing Company. The mill was constructed using granite quarried less than two miles away and was built on the banks of Twelvemile Creek.
