Palmetto Collegiate Institute 5x7
This 'Hometown Series' I created includes local landmarks of my hometown of Lexington SC. It captures the nostalgic feeling of a small town, where the past is deeply embedded in the architecture, people and everyday routines, creating a sense of timeless beauty and familiarity. It is inspired by the idea that you can always come back home.
ABOUT: The Palmetto Collegiate Institute is a renovated building, formerly a school from 1881 until 1911 and then served as a private residence. The Town of Lexington restored the building and held its grand opening in 2008.
