Town of Lexington Water Tower 5x7

$12.50

This 'Hometown Series' I created includes local landmarks of my hometown of Lexington SC. It captures the nostalgic feeling of a small town, where the past is deeply embedded in the architecture, people and everyday routines, creating a sense of timeless beauty and familiarity. It is inspired by the idea that you can always come back home.

ABOUT: Hite’s Restaurant and Dairy Bar was one of a couple “go-to” eateries in the little hamlet of Lexington, SC where I grew up. It was owned and operated by Harry and Betty Ann Hite. It stood in the shadows of what used to be the original Lexington High School football and baseball stadium and the old Town of Lexington Water Tower. All are now long gone, and currently the Flight Deck Shoppes, Restaurant and Murphy Express Gas Station sit where these former landmarks of Lexington once were.
